Repair Policy and Procedures

Sending a unit in for repair and return -
All items being sent in for repair require a repair and return order or purchase order with description of problem, bill to and ship to address included with the box. A Falcon RMA number is not required. Packages should be shipped via prepaid freight to:

Falcon Communications Inc.
1617 South U.S. Highway 63
West Plains, MO 65775

There will be a delayed processing time for all orders that do not have a repair and return order or purchase order included with them or are shipped to another address than the one listed above. If you have any questions please call us at (417) 256-9476 and we will be glad to assist you.

Warranty Information -
All Falcon repaired units are warranted for one year from date of shipment from our facility. If your item becomes defective within that one-year time period it may be returned to Falcon at the above address to be replaced or repaired at no charge. This policy is only valid if the product has not been misused, improperly operated, or modified after leaving the Falcon facility. All equipment must have a Falcon warranty sticker on it for the warranty to be valid. Warranties are also invalidated if the product has been damaged by fire, flood, explosion, electrical power failure, or an act of God. Any damage to equipment due to improper packaging that occurs in shipping to Falcon will void the warranty.

Receipt of Equipment -
Upon arrival at Falcon the equipment is manually checked for accuracy against the customer packing list, that all parts are included, and for physical damage. All discrepancies are noted and you will be notified by telephone of any major discrepancies. The receipt of equipment is then logged by date received, part number and customer purchase order number.

Turn around time for repaired items -
The in-house turn around target is fifteen working days. Some units may exceed this turn around time due to the lack of availability of parts needed. If this situation arises you will be notified by a Falcon representative. Special attention may be given to those items requiring immediate repair for an additional charge.

Units beyond economic repair -
You will be notified by telephone if an item is deemed beyond a reasonable repair charge. Your item may be replaced upon your request or you may choose to have the defective unit returned to you, or have us dispose of it. Individual customer agreements can be made with Falcon so that calling on each order is not necessary.

Card Testing -
There will be a $20 charge for all test only cards. Each card will be tested and labeled accordingly with no warranty applying. Contact a Falcon representative to determine which facility to send your unit to.

Shipping -
UPS ground service is used for all return shipments unless otherwise specified. All pallet shipments are sent via prepaid commercial truck.

Terms -
All repair orders are subject to a thirty-day payment allowance. A prior credit approval is required for all first time customers. The effective date begins on the first of the month following receipt of application and positive credit report. Special arrangements can be made on a case by case basis. We are willing to work with all of our customers.
